Overview

Also known as the crown prince of high society, Venigni is one of the most iconic characters in the city. It is hard to notice this man and his striking haute couture look.

While his bold red coat may give a strong first impression, Venigni is actually a brilliant inventor and a very talented entrepreneur.

In keeping with the motto of Venigni Works, "We make tomorrow," just about everything you see in the city of Krat has come from the sleepless factory. When you take a closer look at the heart of Krat pumping energy through the city, don't miss the artistic details hidden inside. And beware of mysterious figures lurking in the dark waiting for you.

Past all the brick walls, brass fixtures, and maze-like paths full of steel pipes awaits the boss of the undying flame, Fuoco. Its name was inspired by the puppet master Mangiafuoco (which means "fire eater") from the original The Adventures of Pinocchio. Step into the lair of Fuoco and find out why this furnace boasts the title of "King's Flame."

Not just puppets. Almost every machine and tram in Krat is supplied from here.

You gotta be curious about the guy, what kind of person is he? Wish we could find him...

That is...if he's still kicking.

From the entrance go straight to the Pipe Butler Puppet to launch a Rear Fatal Attack. There will be a Throwing Cell on the floor by the broken carriage. Head back to the entrance and turn right to the balcony to pick up the Collectible Pictures Miracle Cure. Turn around and go up the stairs. Approach the ledge and an ambush Damaged Marionette Puppet will climb up. Drop down to the rooftop and cautiously move forward to the wooden planks forming a bridge. The bridge will collapse if stepped on, so stick to the right side and roll to the other roof's cement support to avoid this. There will be Bomb Butler Puppet on the other roof. On the corner of the rooftop there will be a Vivid Ergo Fragment. There will be a ladder on the corner of the roof to descend. If you fall down through the bridge, there will be a patrolling Pipe Butler Puppet on the right side. Turn right from the patrolling Puppet and go to the end of the alley to pick up an Attribute Resistance Ampoule. Turn around and head to the cart by the ladder to pick up a Special Resistance Ampoule. A patrolling Horseman Puppet will be in this area as well. Approach cautiously and lure the Horseman Puppet to fight in the alley, to fight without triggering the other enemies to engage. Turn left from the building to go up the ramp to attack the ambush Clockwork Blunt Butler Puppet. Move up the stairs to find a patrolling Sawtoothed Wheel Butler Puppet. Head back down the ramp towards the left hand side and head to the ledge. Drop down and move left towards the crates to find a Fable Catalyst. Turn around and move forward to the Bomb Butler Puppet. Turn left towards the stairs, an ambush Damaged Marionette Puppet will crawl up from the broken ledge. Drop down and move towards the crates to pick up a Gemini's Emergency Protection. There will be a Bomb Butler Puppet in front of it and another Bomb Butler Puppet will attack from the bridge. Turn around and run back to the alley to bait the Puppets into following you. Turn right up the staircase across from the bridge to Rear Fatal Attack a Clockwork Blunt Butler Puppet. Head back towards the bridge but before crossing it turn towards the path on the right. There will be a ringing telephone booth and a broken stagecoach Behind the stagecoach there will be several destructible crates hiding a Radiant Ergo Fragment. Head over to the telephone booth and answer it to start the first conversation with Arlecchino. You will be given two dialogue choices:

Regardless of choice, you will receive a Trinity Key. Head across the bridge, while moving across the halfway point will trigger two Pipe Butler Puppet to climb up from the left side, one Pipe Butler Puppet to climb up from the right side, and a Bomb Butler Puppet to engage from the other end of the bridge. Utilize the lamp posts on either side of the bridge as cover for the bombs while dispatching the three Pipe Butler Puppets first. After this encounter, turn right and pick up a Legion Magazine underneath the catwalk. Go up the catwalk stairs and across the top of the catwalk. A recorded message will play from a loudspeaker:

Every bolt you tighten brings prosperity to Krat. At Venigni Works, we build the future.

Workshop Union Entrance

Continue down the catwalk, either using the ladders and stairs to the left or dropping down the scaffolding to the right. Repair the Stargazer on the Workshop Union Entrance Stargazer. There is activatable lore poster found on the steel column:

Electric Blitz is effective for subduing puppets. Get out if you're not a Stalker.

Walk towards the locked door by the brick-walled warehouse to pick up a Chain. Walk up the catwalk to the right onto a balcony. Go through the open doorway flanked with a large window towards the left into a small office, and fall through the hatch found towards the back left corner. Engage the Prototype Puppet (One-Armed) and Prototype Puppet (Turned Head) found below. Interact with the safe and Obtain Salamander Dagger. Press the button on the door to return to the Workshop Union Entrance Stargazer. Go back up the catwalk to the right back onto the balcony, now heading right and reversing towards the Workshop Union Entrance Stargazer to Obtain Dim Ergo Fragment. Turn around and go through the open doorway flanked with a barrel and head straight through a heat ventilation corridor into the next building. Turn left and continue down the hall, triggering a dialogue from Gemini:

This place gives me the creeps-like something's gonna jump out any second.

It's okay, pal. Gemini's looking out for you!

Cautiously turn right to trigger an engagement with a Pipe Butler Puppet and a Bomb Butler Puppet. Back off around the corner to lure the Pipe Butler Puppet, but carefully engage the Bomb Butler Puppet with in mind that the wooden planks in front of the Bomb Butler Puppet will collapse if stepped on. If fallen, continue from the five-enemy fight below and trace backwards; the ambush Clockwork Blunt Butler Puppet is the initiator for this trap fight.

After the engagement, continue forward and Obtain Hidden Moonstone at the front of the next doorway. Continue through the doorway onto a balcony. Turn right and walk across the assembly line rail onto the next balcony, engaging a Sawtoothed Wheel Butler Puppet. Take heed of the moving unarmed Prototype Puppet on the floor by the item near the corner, and engage when ready. Obtain Sawtoothed Wheel on the floor and continue by turning left and onto another assembly line rail. Take note of the balcony and ladder across.

The engagement below consists of an ambush Clockwork Blunt Butler Puppet, a patrolling Sawtoothed Wheel Butler Puppet, an unarmed Prototype Puppet (Turned Head) shifting on the ground below the first assembly line, a sitting unarmed Prototype Puppet, and a sitting Truss Club Prototype Puppet by the chest. Utilize plunging attacks by attacking while falling and the ladder to reposition for further plunging attacks. After dispatching the enemies, Open the chest and Obtain Belford Shock Cartridge. Turn around and continue down the hall, with a right turn. Obtain Vivid Ergo Fragment found in the corner and take another right through the door. A container will drop from the ceiling, and fall when approached opening a new path below. Drop below onto a platform and observe the non-respawning Iron Wall Puppet below. Upon defeat, Geppetto's puppet will receive a Legion Caliber and a Hidden Moonstone. Continue ahead up stairs towards a wall with fans, and prepare to run up the next set of stairs which will apparate a Red Dimensional Butterfly; engage to obtain a Motivity Crank. Continue across the catwalk onto a brick balcony and obtain Thermite. Continue forward, going down a ladder into a culvert and Repair the Stargazer on the Workshop Union Culvert Stargazer. Turn around, heading up the ladder on the left side side and continue down the hall. Take the left to a blocked off route and obtain Hidden Moonstone. Turn around to the right side of the intersection and continue forward towards the next intersection. Take a right onto a balcony, overlooking Puppet of Tomorrow in a drainage channel. Press the button on the interactable button to drop the ladder into the drainage channel below. Obtain Dim Ergo Fragment by the ladder. The water in the drainage channel will inflict Corruption; observe the placement of the item below as well as another ladder towards the right side of the drainage channel. When ready, go down the ladder and run forward ahead to Obtain Radiant Ergo Fragment and turn to the right to go up the next ladder. Take a left and cautiously approach the right turn to engage Horseman Puppet with a sitting Prototype Puppet (Headless) behind the crate on the left side and a sitting Prototype Puppet (One-Armed) by the barrels on the right side. Obtain Radiant Ergo Fragment and walk forwards, turning left to return to Workshop Union Entrance Stargazer. Return to the Workshop Union Culvert Stargazer.

Workshop Union Culvert

From the Workshop Union Culvert Stargazer, look for the open red pipe, and head to the left of it to Obtain Electric Blitz Abrasive. Then, go straight into the pipe into an open area covered with green Corruption liquid. Skirt around the right side of the pool and engage a sitting Damaged Marionette Puppet to the right in the green Corruption liquid near the item on the ground, and follow the right side of the Corruption pool to engage a patrolling Clockwork Blunt Butler Puppet across the pool by the crates and an item. Obtain the Radiant Ergo Fragment near where the Damaged Marionette Puppet was, and go to the crates to Obtain Fable Catalyst. Look towards the bridge and engage the Damaged Marionette Puppet in the Corruption pool. Continue under the bridge to engage a Horseman Puppet along with two sitting Damaged Marionette Puppet in the green Corruption liquid. Move forward cautiously towards the item to trigger another sitting Damaged Marionette Puppet, while retreating to engage it without moving forward. Obtain the Vivid Ergo Fragment.

Keep moving forward towards two drain pipes will apparate a Red Dimensional Butterfly on the island between the two pipes that drops a Hidden Moonstone, triggering an ambush Ranged Butler Puppet Torso from the pipe to the left, and an ambush Ranged Butler Puppet Torso with an ambush Ranged Butler Puppet Torso (Headless) from pipe to the right. Focus on the Red Dimensional Butterfly first, then defeat the enemies. Go to the left of the pipes to Obtain Venigni’s Urgent Repair Tool and turn around and go to the other end of the pool to Obtain Hidden Moonstone.

Return to the Workshop Union Culvert Stargazer.

Turn right to go up the stairs, entering the Flaming boulder section. The goal of this area is to time between the boulders to move to different alcoves found on either the left or right of the corridor, while also luring enemies in the middle to be hit by the boulders. First, move forward to lure the sitting Prototype Puppet across, and defeat it. Obtain Dim Ergo Chunk found on the alcove ahead.

While facing the Workshop Union Culvert Stargazer, turn right and go down the corridor, past the arch and engage a Prototype Puppet (One-Armed) in the alcove left. Move forward towards the edge and Obtain Dim Ergo Fragment, promptly returning to the alcove. Go right and stick to right hand side to return to the start near the Workshop Union Culvert Stargazer. Continue to go upwards sticking to the right into another alcove, triggering a Prototype Puppet (One-Armed) in the alcove left to attack. Dispatch the Prototype Puppet (One Armed) and continue going upwards, sticking to the right into another alcove. Move forward to trigger a Prototype Puppet to the right alcove with sitting ambush Prototype Puppet (One-Armed) in the alcove on the left, and promptly return to the previous alcove. Dispatch the enemies and move upward to the alcove on the right. Move towards the item by the a gate to trigger an ambush Prototype Puppet (Headless) at the end of the alcove on the left. Dispatch the enemy. Press the button on locked gate, Obtain and Gemini's Emergency Protection. This gate leads back to the shortcut path returning to the Puppet of Tomorrow. Continue moving upwards the corridor, sticking to the right into another alcove. A wall will be breached by a Truss Club Prototype Puppet. Defeat the enemy and move up sticking to the left side into another alcove. Move up sticking to the left, into another alcove with a chest. Defeat the Truss Club Prototype Puppet and Open Chest to Obtain Fire Axe. Turn around and head back while hugging left through the alcoves and go through the broken wall segment.

Continue down the hallway and Obtain Vivid Ergo Fragment on the left side. Go through the door, and turn left and then turn right to Talk to Stalkers hanging around, Red Fox and Black Cat. Approaching the pair will prompt a line from Red Fox:

Red Fox Ooh! Admirers seem to follow me everywhere.

Geppetto's puppet can then interact with them for additional dialogue.

Pleased to see you, my Stalker friend.

Black Cat

You made it all the way here unbothered by ruffians! You've got talent.

I've never seen you before, but who cares?

Red Fox

This may well benefit our former client.

Did you catch that subtle whiff of money in the air?

Moneybags himself, Lorenzini Venigni, is inside the factory this very moment.

Black Cat

You caught us on our return trip.

We had to deny his ridiculous request in person just to be sure it wasn't a joke!

All we could do was laugh.

Go across the street from Red Fox and Obtain Star Fragment found on the manhole cover.

Turn left and go through the door into a hallway. Walk forward towards the intersection ahead and engage a triggered Prototype Puppet (Headless) coming from left path at intersection. Keep heading straight to next intersection. Take the path left into the red pipe. Engage the Prototype Puppet Torso that emerges near wooden plank. Cross the wooden plank and engage two triggered Prototype Puppet Torso (Headless) and one triggered Prototype Puppet Torso that approach crawling on roof and attempt to falling attack. Go back to the wooden planks, and drop off the right side. Engage the sitting Truss Club Prototype Puppet and another Truss Club Prototype Puppet at the end of the path. Go towards the end of the path and Obtain Saw Blade. Go uphill until entering a tunnel, and turn left towards the wooden barricade. A Fire Stoker Puppet breaks through wall; defeat the enemy and receive Swordsmanship Master's Amulet and Hidden Moonstone. Move to the end of the tunnel and Obtain Attribute Purification Ampoule by the gate. Press the button to open the gate leading back to the hallway. Turn left at intersection, and right at the next intersection facing away from the red pipe. Engage the Sawtooth Butler Puppet, sitting Clockwork Blunt Butler Puppet at the wall, and Pipe Butler Puppet coming in from the left. Obtain Vivid Ergo Fragment found at the wall. Go down path at the left, and turn right. The Venigni Works Trinity Door is found on the left of this hallway, opened with Trinity Key received from the Union Workshop Entrance Riddle.

Workshop Union Culvert

Turn Left and go towards the end of the hallway and Obtain Attribute Resistance Ampoule. Go through opening on right, and Press the button to lower the ladder, opening a shortcut to the Workshop Union Culvert Stargazer. Backtrack to the Stalkers through the hallways, and turn left after passing the Stalkers. Go up the stairs and turn right through the door into a brick warehouse. Approach the item on ground which will trigger two Prototype Puppet to fall. Defeat the enemies and Obtain Special Purification Ampoule. Go upstairs into an office and Obtain Doctor's Confessions. Go back downstairs and enter the room underneath the stairs. Go up the next set of stairs onto a balcony and Obtain Have you seen this eccentric?!. Go back around the corner with the hanging prototype puppets, and turn left and down the hatch for the first Stalker encounter.

Go up the ladder and out of warehouse. Turn right through the door and go towards the visible "Venigni We Make Tomorrow" mural. Pull the lever on the left side, lowering a pipe that opens shortcut back to Workshop Union Entrance Stargazer. Enter the door on the right to go to the factory floor. An interactive lore can be found on the graffiti on left side:

Venigni is a jerk. I wanna make as much as Venigni's butler puppet does.

Continue around the corner. Venigni can be heard, quipping every couple seconds: Quip 1

Turn right and head towards the crates to engage a Pipe Butler Puppet and Obtain item Hidden Moonstone. Return to the "Caution Acid" sign and head up the stairwell. Go through door and Repair the Stargazer on Venigni Works Control Room Stargazer.
