Hugo

Hugo is a rookie treasure hunter and admirer of Alidoro.

Background

Hugo's background is largely unknown. He was injured during the Puppet Frenzy and was rescued by Alidoro, who took him to Medoro to treat his wounds. He idolized Alidoro as a result and became a treasure hunter to follow in his footsteps.

Story

If Alidoro is killed, Hugo will find and bury his body. He replaces Alidoro as a merchant, offering Special Weapons or Amulets in exchange for rare Ergo. After the Rise of P or Free From the Puppet Strings endings, Hugo takes Alidoro's costume and decides to become the Alidoro for a new generation, looking to inspire others with his heroics.
